Data Recovery in Lehi, UT

Lost files, failed drive, or computer that won’t boot?

If your hard drive failed, your SSD stopped showing up, or your Mac or PC won’t start and your files are stuck inside, Accent Mac & PC can help. I’m Kelly, owner of Accent Mac & PC in Lehi, and I help customers recover photos, documents, business files, and important projects from Macs, PCs, external drives, and old computers.

Bring the drive or the whole computer in by appointment. I’ll evaluate the situation, explain what is realistic, and give you an upfront estimate before any recovery work begins.

Data Recovery Help for Macs, PCs, External Drives, and SSDs

Failed hard drives

Recovery help for hard drives that stopped working, show errors, run slowly, or prevent your computer from starting. If the drive is clicking or grinding, stop using it and text first.

SSDs that stopped showing up

Help with SSDs that no longer appear in macOS, Windows, Disk Utility, File Explorer, or BIOS. SSD recovery depends on the failure type, so I’ll evaluate it before quoting.

External drives that won’t mount

Recovery for external USB drives, backup drives, and portable hard drives that no longer show up, ask to be formatted, or disconnect while copying files.

Macs or PCs that won’t boot

If your computer turns on but won’t load macOS or Windows, your files may still be recoverable. I can check the drive, clone it when possible, and help recover your data.

Old computers with files that need to be saved

Have an old Mac or PC you’re retiring? I can pull photos, documents, desktop files, user folders, and other important data before the computer is recycled or replaced.

Accidentally deleted files

Deleted files may be recoverable if the drive has not been heavily used since deletion. Stop saving new files to the device and bring it in for an evaluation.

Corrupted drives or folders

Help with drives that show corrupted folders, missing files, permission errors, or file-system problems. I’ll check whether the data can be safely copied or recovered.

Time Machine or backup drive problems

Help with Time Machine drives, failed backups, old backup folders, and backup drives that no longer mount. I can also help move recovered files to a new backup drive.

Before You Try Anything Else, Stop Using the Drive

Repeated restarts, DIY repair tools, and copying new files to the drive can make recovery harder. If the files matter, stop using the computer or drive until it has been evaluated. This is especially important if the drive is clicking, grinding, asking to be formatted, or disappearing and reappearing.
